Along with the question ‘Where are the women?’, the faces of 155 men were used in the design of the ‘#Manels Exhibition.’ This design created for the manel exhibition sparked both support and opposition from individuals approaching the issue of manels from various perspectives.
All-male panels, or manels on various news media and social media platforms reflect the prevailing patriarchy in Myanmar’s society and societies worldwide.

“ဘာကြောင့် မန္နယ်လ်?”
“Where are the women?” “အမျိုးသမီးတွေ ဘယ်မှာလဲ”ဆိုသည့် အမေးဝါကျတကြောင်းနှင့်အတူ အမျိုးသား (၁၅၅) ဦး၏ မျက်နှာများကို အသုံးပြုကာ “#Manels_Exhibition” အတွက် ဒီဇိုင်းဖန်တီးထားသည်။ ဖိုဝါဒလွှမ်းမိုးသော စကားဝိုင်းများဓာတ်ပုံပြပွဲအတွက် ပြင်ဆင်ထားသည့် အဆိုပါဒီဇိုင်းကြောင့်ပင် ထောက်ခံသူနှင့် ကန့်ကွက်သူများအကြား Manels အကြောင်း ရှုထောင့်အသီးသီးမှ ချဉ်းကပ်ငြင်းခုံမှုများကို တွေ့ရှိရပါသည်။
အမျိုးသားများချည်းသာ သီးသန့်ပါဝင်နေသည့် သတင်းမီဒီယာနှင့် လူမှုကွန်ရက်ပလက်ဖောင်းအသီးသီးမှ စကားဝိုင်းများ (Manels) များသည် မြန်မာ့လူ့အဖွဲ့အစည်းအပါအဝင် ကမ္ဘာတဝှမ်းလုံးရှိ လူ့အဖွဲ့အစည်းအသီးသီးတွင် အမြစ်တွယ်နေသော ဖိုဝါဒကြီးစိုးမှုကို ပြသနေသည်ဟု ရှုမြင်နိုင်သည်။
ယခုတစ်ပတ် BNI-Myanmar Peace Monitor ၏ အပတ်စဉ်သတင်းသုံးသပ်ချက်တွင် Manels များ ရပ်တန့်ရေးလှုပ်ရှားမှုအကြောင်း စေ့ငုလေ့လာတင်ပြထားပါသည်။
