A total of 18 junta soldiers were killed in the battle between the military council and Chinland Defense Force (CDF)-Mindat in Mindat Township of Chin State.
At least 15 junta soldiers were killed and a member of CDF-Mindat, wounded in the intense fighting since 7.30 am to 6 pm at Station-1 in Mindat Township on April 1, according to the statement released by the CDF-Mindat today.
The military council dropped bombs eight times by jet fighters at night on the same day. At around 6 pm on 10 April, three junta soldiers were killed in the battle at 9th mile near Mindat.
At 7.46 pm on 11 April, the military council dropped bombs for four times near No.1 village and inside the village near Mindat Township by two jet fighters. The bombardment destroyed a monastery and a house. There were no reports of civilian casualties, according to the CDF-Mindat’s statement.
