Thirteen junta soldiers were killed and seven wounded in a battle between Milepost No.14 and 15 on Matupi-Paletwa road in Matupi Township of Chin State, according to the photos and video footages released by the Chinland Defense Force (CDF)-Matupi on 26 March.
The CDF-Matupi ambushed three military vehicles loaded with around 80 soldiers while they were leaving Matupi for Htalbway camp for ration supply, between Milepost 14 and 15 on Matupi-Paletwa Road on 24 March.
The ambush killed seven junta soldiers and six junta soldiers in three clashes.
Seven soldiers were wounded.
In the battle, one member of CDF-Matupi was wounded. The CDF-Matupi successfully withdrew.
A combined force of the CDF-Matupi and the Chin National Army (CNA) jointly carried out attacks.
The CDF-Matupi is carrying out the clearance of landmines planted by the military council troops near Warpone junction at Milepost No.16 on Matupi-Paletwa Road. It has warned the public to travel after the clearance of landmines.
