Since the coup on February 1st, 2021, the public’s democratic movements have mush-roomed across the country. In an effort to control the public’s democratic movements, the military council is using every possible means such as brutal crackdown on, arrests, oppressions and killings of dissidents and internet shutdown. In an attempt to restrict the use of the internet which is the public’s access, the military council took a step to increase the prices of internet data.
The military council citied that the move is aimed at increasing the country’s incomes and reducing the public’s job disruptions and the students’ physical and mental problems, which are caused by the excessive use of internet. It is required to monitor a situation on to what extent internet shutdown and increased internet service charges have an impact on Myanmar’s Spring Revolution.

၂၀၂၁ ခုနှစ် ဖေဖော်ဝါရီ ၁ ရက်၊ စစ်အာဏာသိမ်းပြီးနောက်ပိုင်း မြန်မာနိုင်ငံတဝှမ်းလုံးတွင် ဒီမိုကရေစီအရေးအတွက် လူထုလှုပ်ရှားမှုများစွာ ထွက်ပေါ်လာခဲ့သည်။ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံတွင် ဒီမိုကရေစီအရေးလူထုလှုပ်ရှားမှုများကို ထိန်းချုပ်ရာတွင် အာဏာသိမ်းစစ်ကောင်စီက အကြမ်းဖက်ဖြိုခွင်းခြင်း၊ ဖမ်းဆီးညှင်းပန်းနှိပ်စက် သတ်ဖြတ်ခြင်း စသည့် ပုံသဏ္ဍာန်မျိုးစုံဖြင့် အင်တာနက်ကို ဖြတ်တောက်ဖို့နှင့် ကန့်သတ်ဖို့ ဆောင်ရွက်ခဲ့ပါသည်။
အာဏာသိမ်းစစ်ကောင်စီက အများပြည်သူရပိုင်ခွင့်ဖြစ် အင်တာနက်ဝန်ဆောင်မူတွေကို နိုင်ငံ့ဝင်ငွေ တိုးတက်ရရှိစေရန်နှင့် အင်တာနက် အလွန်အကျွံသုံးစွဲမှုများကြောင့် ပြည်သူများ၏ အလုပ်အကိုင်ထိခိုက်မှုများ၊ မျိုးဆက်သစ် ကျောင်းသား/ကျောင်းသူများ၏ ရုပ်ပိုင်းနှင့် စိတ်ပိုင်းဆိုင်ရာ ထိခိုက်မှုများကို လျှော့ချပေးနိုင်မည်ဆိုသော အကြောင်းပြချက်ဖြင့် တရစ်ပြီးတရစ် တိုးမြှင့်ကောက်ခံရန် ဆောင်ရွက်ခဲ့ပါသည်။
အင်တာနက်ဖြတ်တောက်ခြင်း၊ စျေးနှုန်းတိုးမြှင့်ခြင်းကြောင့် မြန်မာ့နွေဦးတော်လှန်ရေးအပေါ် ဘယ်လောက် ထိခိုက်နစ်နာမှု ဖြစ်စေသလဲဆိုတာ သတိထားစောင့်ကြည့်ရမည့် အခြေအနေမျိုး ဖြစ်လာခဲ့ပါသည်။ ယခု ဇန်နဝါရီ တတိယအပတ်၊ Myanmar Peace Monitor ၏ အပတ်စဉ်သတင်းသုံးသပ်ချက်တွင် စစ်ကောင်စီ၏ အင်တာနက်ဖြတ်တောက်မှုနှင့် စျေးနှုန်းတိုးမြှင့်ခြင်း၏ လားရာများကို လေ့လာတင်ပြသွားပါမည်။
