Military strategist, two others killed in resistance raid on Matupi strategy command

Three military personnel, including a military strategist and a colonel, were killed when the regime’s strategy command on Matupi-Hakha Road was raided by the Chinland Defense Force – Matupi at 4 pm on 5 May.

The CDF -Matupi said in a statement that three junta soldiers – Colonel Soe Min Latt, a major, and a military strategist/driver – were killed and an MA3 rifle was seized in the raid.

In the skirmish, CDF -Matupi was able to retreat unharmed, the statement said.

The CDF-Matupi also warned that it would take serious action against junta-appointed election commissions, government employees, and other junta servants who support the functioning of the regime’s administrative mechanism.
