The commander of the Bamar People’s Liberation Army (BPLA) expressed gratitude towards the Arakan Army (AA) for providing military training until they are able to conduct their own training, during the graduation ceremony of the group’s 4th batch.
“BPLA’s previous trainings were conducted under the supervision of experienced trainers from AA. We are satisfied that our own instructors were able to lead the BPLA’s 4th batch. We are very grateful to the Arakan Army for patiently granting us this kind of military training until we can stand on our own feet,” the armed group’s statement said.
In addition, the BPLA thanks the Karen National Liberation Army (KNLA) for providing terrain, training materials and other necessary support.
In response to the gratitude, the BPLA says it will stand up to its allies for its political goals and the revolution, and that it will never betray its allies and will resolutely follow the path.
