Myanmar Peace Monitor (MPM) is a specialized conflict-tracking and data-analysis program run by Burma News International (BNI), an established media network comprised of 15 independent ethnic media outlets across Myanmar.

As a network-driven data initiative, BNI-MPM systematically tracks, verifies, and analyzes armed conflict events, military developments, and human rights conditions across the country. By aggregating reporting from BNI member outlets alongside other verified news sources, BNI-MPM builds rigorous, independent datasets on troop movements, airstrikes, territorial control, and actor dynamics. Through this comprehensive synthesis, the program serves as a vital repository of empirical evidence for journalists, researchers, policymakers, and transitional justice advocates worldwide.
