In the battle, the KNLA and joint forces captured Mone police station, the bridge camp and Light Infantry-599 and 590, which are carrying out targeted attacks on the public.

The KNLA and joint force arrested more than 20 family members of soldiers from two battalions. The KNLA treats them humanely, the statement says.

The KNLA and joint forces continue to control the captured outposts and carry out area clearance operations. The military council also conducts airstrikes, the KNU’s Brigade-3 Information Department says.

“The military council conducted airstrikes while the area clearance operation was being carried out. The military council attacked the township office and Battalion-8 Headquarters with jet fighter.
