The Brotherhood Alliance has urged the public in Sison, Par Hat and Chaunggyi 7/8 villages to flee two weeks ago without any clash, said a local man from Nawnghkio.

The military council’s shelling killed 10 civilians including five women and wounded at least 15 others in two-month renewed fighting in Nawnghkio Township, which started during the Thingyan period, according to residents.
