Russian novelist Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn who is the winner of the 1970 Nobel Prize for Literature, said that “Violence can only be concealed by a lie, and the lie can only be maintained by violence”.
In the “Endless Failure” chapter in the book titled “100 Important Words for the Myanmar Society Change” which is written by Sayar Maung Zaw, defines the term “endless failure” that “During the transitional period, the groups which do not want to give up power always try to enable the country to lead to an endless failure by creating instabilities.”
The acts of the junta group which is making a coup attempt towards the Myanmar people and the whole human society remind the people of the aforementioned words and definitions.
The BNI-Myanmar Peace Monitor’s weekly news review for this week will focus on the fact whether Myanmar is really leading to a failed state.
