A village in Station-1 in Mindat Township, was bombed and fired with machine guns by the military council at around midnight on 4 June, said Salai Yaw Man said.

“The village was bombed with a jet fighter. The village was also attacked with machine guns constantly. Currently, many houses are damaged. One man was killed. One woman had her hand broken or cut off,” said Salai Yaw Man.

The victim killed in the attack is an elderly man. Three civilians were seriously wounded, according to the People’s Administration.

A village in Mindat Station- 1 was attacked by the military council four times with 2 jet fighters in about 20 minutes, Mindat resident Kohar Kalay said.

There were no battles in the village that was bombed by the military council, and there were no meetings or resistance forces, and there were only civilian homes at the junction of the village.

The village has scattered houses. It was built by gathering small villages.

Salai Yaw Mann said that the military council’s intense aerial attacks have forced all the residents from the villages to flee their homes.

On 4 June, Mindat Township People’s Administration issued a warning that there were more aerial attacks targeting schools, religious buildings, hospitals and civilian houses during this year.
