Two bomb blasts occurred at the administrative office of Myoma No.2 ward in Mudon Township in Mon State at around 1.45 pm on June 12th.
“A bomb exploded first. Two minutes later, another bomb went off. The bomb blasts damaged the office building. There were no reports of casualties,” a local said.
Security forces arrived at the office shortly after the bomb blasts. Security was tightened near the office.
Mudon Danger Fighter and Mon State Revolution Organization (MSRO) claimed responsibility for the attacks.
This is the first corporation between the two groups. They jointly carried out the remote bomb attacks, according to the statement.
Currently, security is tightened in Mudon Township. Security forces are checking motorcycles and vehicles.
