Mawlamyine-based South East Command in Mawlamyine was attacked, according to the persons living near the military command.
Three explosions were heard from the compound of South East Command, at around 9.40 pm on 16 March, a person living near the South East Command said.
It is assumed that this is not a drone attack as the jumpers are installed in the compound of the military command. It may be rocket launchers.
I heard that the attack destroyed a building. Detailed information is still unknown.
Three rocket launchers were fired into the compound of the military command. One rocket landed on a staff quarter, one in the west of the account office and one in the forest, locals said. However, the Independent Mon News Agency is unable to confirm it.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack on the South East Command.
