Members of the People’s Defense Force (PDF) reportedly conducted drone strikes on military council troops in Myaing Township, Magway Region, injuring two members of the junta-affiliated Pyu Saw Htee militia.

At noon on September 5, the PDF in Myaing used drones to bomb on junta soldiers and members of the Pyu Saw Htee militia who were conducting security checks between Kantaw and Kanma villages on the border between Myaing and Pakokku Townships.

“About eight junta soldiers and Pyu Saw Htee members were engaged in the check at that time. We attacked them by dropping three handmade rifle bombs on them,” said a member of Myaing PDF.

During the drone attack, two Pyu Saw Htee members were injured when the bombs exploded on their vehicle.

The People’s Defense Force (PDF) – Myaing has also appealed to the public not to travel to areas where military council troops and Pyu Saw Htee members are present.
