Four youths who were found dead with their hands tied behind their backs, under a bridge near Swataung village in Seikmu village-tract in Hpakant Township, according to locals.
At around 8 pm on May 31st, I heard gunshots. On the morning of June 1st, four youths were found dead, an eyewitness told the KNG.
“There is a bridge between the cemetery and Swataung village. They were shot dead near the bridge at around 8 pm. Four victims are youths in their 20s to 30s. They all were shot in their heads,” an eyewitness said.
“It is still unknown which organizations killed them and who the victims are. The officials are still investigating the information about the missing people in the villages,” a person close to the social organization which collected the dead bodies, from Mamone village.
The social organization sent the bodies to Hpakant mortuary.
