The military council has threatened to burn villages if villagers are unable to find four missing sons of the soldiers from the artillery base in Kyaukhtu in Magway Region, locals told the Than Lwin Times.

On November 12, they left the artillery base as they no longer wanted to live in the army compound. It is exactly unknown where they are.

They did not arrive in the village although the junta soldiers are threatening to burn Letpan village in Kyaukhtu Township, a local said.

Locals in the village are in danger of arson at any time. In addition, the military council soldiers have threatened to burn Kanoh and Pasoke villages.

A combined force of Division-55, 11 and 101 of the military council and military-backed Pyu Saw Htee members abducted a monk and four men who are assumed to be town-elders from Letpan village.

Currently, the Yaw Alinn Tan has warned the people from the villages near Pasoke village to be cautious about their security as the junta soldiers may be stationed in Pasoke village.
