A 21-year-old member of the Lamaing philanthropic youths organization was killed in a shooting from the Lamaing police station in Ye Township in Mon State at around 11 pm on July 31st, according to locals.
“Maung Lin Aung was shot as he was approaching the police station,” said those who are close to the police station.
Maung Lin Aung was shot dead on his way back home from the office.
What the officials from the police station said, goes against the situations on the real ground.
The police officials said Maung Lin Aung was shot near the police station. However locals claimed that Maung Lin Aung’s motorbike and blood stains were found on the road beside Naungdawgyi Pagoda in Lamaing.
Locals were frequently shot dead by the junta soldiers in Ye Township after the coup citing security concerns, according to locals.
