There are no countries which have officially recognized the junta during over one-and-half years of the coup. However, it is found that Myanmar’s neighbour China and some ASEAN countries are making relations with the junta by using every possible means.
The failed coup staged by the junta under the pretext of the results of the 2020 General Elections and its consequences can be viewed as a sign of declining trust by those countries themselves.

စစ်အာဏာသိမ်းကာလ တစ်နှစ်ခွဲကျော် ကြာမြင့်လာသည်အထိ အာဏာသိမ်းစစ်အုပ်စုကို တရားဝင်အသိအမှတ်ပြု ဆက်ဆံနေသည့် နိုင်ငံဟူ၍ မရှိသေးဟု ဆိုရပါမည်။ သို့သော် အာဆီယံအပါအဝင် အိမ်နီးချင်း တရုတ်နိုင်ငံတို့သည် အာဏာသိမ်းစစ်အုပ်စုအား နည်းလမ်းမျိုးစုံအသုံးပြုကာ နေရာပေး ဆက်ဆံလာသည်ကို တွေ့ရပါသည်။
၂၀၂၀ ပြည့်နှစ် အထွေထွေရွေးကောက်ပွဲ ရလဒ်များအကြောင်းပြကာ တိုင်းပြည်အာဏာလုယူထားသော အာဏာသိမ်းစစ်အုပ်စု၏ မအောင်မြင်သော စစ်အာဏာသိမ်းမှုနှင့် နောက်ဆက်တွဲ အခင်းအကျင်းများအပေါ် အဆိုပါနိုင်ငံများကိုယ်တိုင် ယုံကြည်မှု ကျဆင်းလာခြင်း၏ လက္ခဏာတစ်ရပ်အဖြစ်လည်း ရှုမြင်နိုင်ပါသည်။
ယခုတစ်ပတ် BNI-Myanmar Peace Monitor ၏ အပတ်စဉ် သတင်းသုံးသပ်ချက်တွင် တရုတ်၊ အာဆီယံအဖွဲ့ဝင်နိုင်ငံအချို့နှင့် အာဏာသိမ်းစစ်အုပ်စုတို့အကြား ထိတွေ့ဆက်ဆံမှု ပုံရိပ်များကို လေ့လာတင်ပြသွားပါမည်။
