Body of detained Bilin MP found

The dead body of MP U Kyaw Myo Min who is a chair of the Bilin Township National League for Democracy (NLD) arrested by the junta troops, was found on July 6th.

His body was found in the mud ditch near the dead bodies of NLD members U Pan Myint and U Ko Ko Maung, according to a local.

“I think U Kyaw Myo Min, U Pan Myint and U Ko Ko Maung were killed on the same day. His head was buried in the mud and his body was covered with leaves. He was found dead with his hands tied behind his back and neck tied with rope,” he adds.

On June 22th, the advancing junta troops shot and arrested U Kyaw Myo Min, NLD member U Pan Myint, U Ko Ko Maung and a villager in a confrontation near Pawkhee village in Bilin Township. The villager died in the shooting.

On July 2nd, the bodies of U Pan Myint and U Ko Ko Maung were found buried in the mud.
