A video file which shows the view of an interrogation center emerged on June 24th. It could evoke the revolutionary spirits of the people who saw the video. The heroic spirits of a youth can be seen in that video file. The soldiers’ inhumanity and atrocities are distinctly seen.
The public’s revolution coupled with the military coup has evolved from peaceful protest into armed resistance step by step. In addition to the oppressions, arrests, mass killings and burning, the military has stepped up offensive operations in the regions where it faces strong armed resistance by the People’s Defense Forces (PDFs).
The people are heartbroken to see a lot of the Spring Revolution heroes who stand for the truth by scarifying their lives and properties. The BNI-Myanmar Peace Monitor’s Weekly News Review for this week focuses on the matters about the heroes who sacrificed their lives for the truth.
