“Death sentences were handed down to those who committed terrorist acts including former MP Phyo Zeyar Thaw from the National League for Democracy (NLD) and Ko Jimmy from the 88 Generation Peace and Open Society. Does the government have a plan to enforce the death sentence? Will clemency be granted?” a reporter questioned at the press conference.
Maj-Gen Zaw Min Tun, spokesperson of the military council said: “Regarding the question of whether they will be executed or not, our government is working to enable them to get the penalty which is equivalent to the crime.
This is all.” After the fabricated press conference, the news about the approval of the execution order for the death sentences of four persons including Ko Phyo Zeyar Thaw and Ko Jimmy, appeared in the news agency.

“NLD အမတ်ဟောင်း ဖြိုးဇေယျာသော်တို့၊ ၈၈ ပွင့်လင်းက ကိုဂျင်မီတို့အပါအဝင် အကြမ်းဖက်မှုတွေကို ကျုးလွန်ခဲ့တဲ့ အကြမ်းဖက်သမားတွေကို နိုင်ငံတော်ကနေ သေဒဏ်ပေးထားတာ ရှိပါတယ်။ သေဒဏ်ကို နိုင်ငံတော်အနေနဲ့ ကျင့်သုံးဖို့ရှိလား၊ သက်ညှာသွားမှာလား” ဟု သတင်းထောက်တစ်ဦးက မေးသည်။
စစ်ကောင်စီပြောခွင့်ရသူ ဗိုလ်ချုပ်ဇော်မင်းထွန်းက “သေဒဏ်ပေးမှု၊ မပေးမှုနှင့်ပတ်သက်ပြီး ပြောလိုတာက ကျနော်တို့အစိုးရအနေနဲ့ ပြစ်မှုနဲ့ညီတဲ့ ပြစ်ဒဏ်ကို ပေးနိုင်ဖို့ ဆောင်ရွက်နေတယ်၊ ဒါပဲ” ဟု ပြန်ဖြေခဲ့သည်။
အတိုင်အဖောက်၊ ရေလာမြောင်းပေး၊ အဖွင့်အပိတ်မျှတစွာဖြင့် ပြုလုပ်ခဲ့သော ဝါဒဖြန့် သတင်းစာရှင်းလင်းပွဲအပြီးတွင်တော့ နောက်ဆက်တွဲသတင်းများအဖြစ် ကိုဖြိုးဇေယျာသော်နှင့် ကိုဂျင်မီအပါအဝင် လေးဦးကို ကွပ်မျက်မိန့်ပေးလိုက်ပြီဟု သတင်းမီဒီယာစာမျက်နှာများတွင် ဖော်ပြလာခဲ့ပါသည်။
