Till April 30th, 2022, the total number of the houses burned down by the military council troops has reached 11,417. The number of burned houses continues to rise as the military council troops are consecutively committing arson attacks during this month.
According to the report by Data for Myanmar, the upper Myanmar like Sagaing, Magway and Mandalay account for 85 per cent of arsons. Arson is also reported in Chin, Karenni (Kayah), Shan (South), Tanintharyi, Bago, Kayin and Kachin. So, the military council troops are carrying out targeted arson attacks on the regions which see strong armed resistances.

Data for Myanmar ၏ ထုတ်ပြန်ချက်အရ မီးရှို့ဖျက်ဆီးခံရမှုများ၏ ၈၅ ရာခိုင်နှုန်းသည် စစ်ကိုင်း၊ မကွေးနှင့် မန္တလေး စသည့် အညာဒေသအတွင်း ဖြစ်နေသည်ကို တွေ့ရပါသည်။ ထိုမှ ချင်း၊ ကရင်နီ (ကယား)၊ ရှမ်း (တောင်)၊ တနသ်ာရီ၊ ပဲခူး၊ ကရင်နှင့် ကချင်ဒေသများ ပါဝင်နေသည်။ ထို့ကြောင့် အာဏာသိမ်းစစ်ကောင်စီတပ်များ၏ မီးရှို့ဖျက်ဆီးခြင်းသည် ၎င်းတို့အား ခုခံတော်လှန်စစ်ပြင်းထန်စွာ ဆင်နွှဲနေသော အရပ်ဒေသများကို ပစ်မှတ်ထားလုပ်ဆောင်နေခြင်းဖြစ်သည်ကို တွေ့ရပါသည်။
