The public’s anti-coup movements coupled with Military Chief Min Aung Hlaing’s military coup has evolved from the peaceful protests to the resistance across the country. Anti Coup peaceful protests and flash mob protests remain in different forms and with different chants although the military coup has entered over 15 months. Due to the military councilβs brutal crackdowns, arrests, tortures, killings and the shooting of protestors in the head with live bullets, The Spring Revolution has evolved step by step from defensive measures taken by monks, the public, students and youths who defy the military dictatorship to the resistance war.
