With the aim of abolishing the dictatorship and building up a federal democratic union, the National Unity Government (NUG) which has been revolutionizing the military council, has offered the United League of Arakan/Arakan Army (ULA/AA) to hold an informal talk.
On March 24th, the NUG sent a letter to the ULA/AA with the signature of Daw Zin Mar Aung, the NUG’s Foreign Affairs Minister who is also the head of the ally relation committee, to introduce the allied relation committee formed by the NUG and hold an informal talk.
In the letter sent to the ULA/AA, the NUG’s allied relation committee cordially invites you to hold an informal talk at the suitable time and date.
According to the statement, the NUG said it has a burning desire to totally abolish the dictatorship and to carry out the implementation of the federal democratic union by joining hands with ethnic armed revolutionary organizations, its allied political organizations and forces through more amicable relations and trust building.
The NUG formed the allied relation committee on December 29th, 2021 in order to promote relations with ethnic armed revolutionary organizations, allied political organizations and other forces, to build the basic foundations, to end the dictatorship and to build up a federal democratic union.
