Aiming to demolish the dictatorship and restore federal democracy, an agreement has been signed between Chin National Front (CNF) and Interim National Unity Government (NUG), stated NUG.
Chin National Front (CNF) has thus become the very first ethnic armed organization that officially recognizes the Interim National Unity Government following military coup and sets up the mutual agreement.
The mutual agreements have been signed on May 29 online conferences and NUG has announced the result of such online conferences.
“Mutual recognition and respect will be preserved between National Unity Government and Chin National Front. Then we will work on the basis of equity and fight together to demolish the dictatorship and restore federal democracy. Moreover, we will also cooperate for the other important issues,” NUG said in a statement.
NUG stated that Interim National Unity Government’s members, Vice-President Duwa Lashi La, Prime Minister Mahn Win Khaing Than, Union Minister of Foreign Affairs, Union Minister of Home Affairs and Immigration and Union Minister of Defence, have signed the agreements.
NUG moreover stated that CNF Chairman Pu Zing Cung, Vice-Chairman and General Secretariats have attended the meeting and signed.
Therefore, Chin National Front (CNF) has become the very first ethnic armed organization that signs with the Interim National Unity Government to demolish the dictatorship and to restore federal democracy.
